Steve Goodman from Stanford is visiting USC to give a special lecture titled “Research Reproducibility: What Does it Mean and What Should We Do About it?” this Friday on May 19th at 10:00 – 11:00AM in SSB (Soto Street Building) 115/116. Reproducible research refers to a study’s data analyses that are published with their data and software code, so that they are available to other researchers. As data becomes more complex and large-scale, research reproducibility allows researchers to verify results and build upon the study. Dr. Steve Goodman is one of the country’s leading methodologists and we are privileged to have him lecture here on Friday.  We hope you can join us to meet Dr. Goodman and learn more about reproducible research.
