One of the biggest challenges that researchers face is gaining access to the resources they need to conduct successful clinical studies. SC CTSI supports investigators by providing clinical research infrastructure and assisting investigators to develop and conduct clinical studies.
Read More SC CTSI advances clinical research through two Clinical Trials Units (CTUs)—one at the Keck Hospital of USC and one at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. During the pre-award phase, SC CTSI offers investigators funding opportunities, study feasibility and design consultations, preliminary budget development, and regulatory and administrative support. Once investigators are ready to recruit patients, the SC CTSI equips them with well-equipped physical space, well-trained and dedicated clinical research staff, and a laboratory for specimen handling and processing.
