SC CTSI Role

As the Interim Director of the Biostatistics Core at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), Dr. Wong oversees the activities of the Biostatistics Team at CHLA.  She works closely with the SC CTSI BERD team to support research and training activities.

Professional Background

Dr. Wong has over ten years of experience conducting and leading quantitative research and analyses in federally-funded studies.  She has worked with investigators across disciplines including medicine, public health, policy, and education.  As a research methodologist, statistician, and social scientist, Dr. Wong is also engaged in research focused on understanding how stress and related factors disproportionately impact vulnerable adolescents and young adults and the types of resources that buffer these impacts on their health and well-being.

Creating art; being outdoors (hiking, running); traveling the world
