Christian Starks is responsible for providing oversight to CE projects and team, working with community partners, developing project plans to support community engaged research, ensuring that evaluation and metrics are accurately collected and reported and conducting community outreach to the greater SoCal communities.

Professional Background
Christian has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University of Northridge. She also earned a certificate in health administration and undergraduate degree in Public Health Promotion from California State University of Northridge. Prior to coming to SC CTSI, she worked as a manager of program implementation and engagement for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Throughout her professional career her focus and passion has been to transform, uplift, and empower communities using health education, partnership building, community outreach, and engagement strategies.
She has previous professional experience working in the local governmental sector, nonprofit industry, and clinical trial research field.
Interests
Traveling, baking, reading, spending time with family and friends, and binge-watching documentaries.
