Professional Background

Crystal graduated in December from the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), where she double majored in Molecular Cell Biology and Integrative Biology and minored in Global Poverty and Practice. She worked as a research intern for UCSF Social Interventions Research and Evaluation Network (SIREN) and had the opportunity to partake in a public health and engineering dual fellowship. Crystal hopes to pursue a career in healthcare that focuses on serving and improving the wellness of underserved populations in the greater Los Angeles area. 


Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new hiking trails with her pup, and listening to TED Talks.
