Emily supports all aspects of research coordination.
Emily graduated from UC San Diego in 2014 with a degree in Ecology, Behavior, Evolution where she worked as a lab assistant in a biomedical lab researching marine-derived compounds for the treatment of diseases such as cancer and infectious diseases. She then decided to pursue a Master of Public Health from Emory University in Atlanta and graduated with a concentration in Global Environmental Health. During her graduate program, Emily worked as a graduate research assistant on an observational cohort study to understand patterns of substance use and risk of acquiring HIV. She went on to work for the Georgia Department of Public Health working as an Emerging Infections Program Intern on foodborne disease surveillance.
In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Disney movies, and traveling around the globe one city at a time.
