SC CTSI Role
Katrina is the Director for the Community Engagement (CE) program and the Director of Evaluation and Improvement (EI). In her role with CE, Katrina oversees the day to day operations of the program, develops appropriate methods and processes for CE initiatives such as the Research Ambassador Program and Our Community Our Health, conducts consultations with faculty and staff on working in diverse communities. An expert in qualitative and mixed methods research, Katrina also provides assistance in developing qualitative research projects for formative work and other research needs. In her role as the Director of EI, Katrina develops processes and methods for the overall evaluation of the SC CTSI. This includes overseeing reporting requirements, developing data collection tools and methods and working with SC CTSI cores to collect and manage program data.
