Professional Background
Lilith C. Moss is a senior biostatistician at the Biostatistics Core within CHLA. She graduated from USC Keck School of Medicine, Department of Preventive Medicine with a PhD in Biostatistics in 2018. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with an MS in Mathematics in 2012 and a BS in Mathematics in 2010. Her PhD research focused on the development and application of statistical methods for detecting gene-environment interactions and admixture mapping. In 2018 she joined the Center for Genetic Epidemiology at Keck School of Medicine as a postdoctoral researcher and ARCS research Fellow developing polygenic risk scores in prostate cancer. Before joining the biostatistics core, she worked in industry as a senior data scientist in healthcare where she built machine learning pipelines and models to predict health outcomes.
