Program Manager, Community Engagement

SC CTSI Role

Miles  is responsible for managing community engagement programs and initiatives, such as the Research Ambassador Program, the Autism Disparity Project, and the SC CTSI Community Advisory Board. The Community Engagement team is passionate about developing existing and new efforts that strengthen the connection between research and community. A key focus of Miles’ work revolves around listening to community voices and input that may result in deeper bi-directional relationships. One method to carrying out this goal is to champion the use of community based participatory research methods and provide consultation on how to successfully incorporate this method into research designs.
