Randa Issa, PhD is the Academic Program Administrator – Undergraduate Programs at the USC School of Pharmacy, Department of Regulatory and Quality Sciences. In this capacity she manages the School’s major in Pharmacology and Drug Development, the minor in Science and Management of Biomedical Therapeutics and the Trojan Admission Pre-Pharmacy Program. Dr. Issa is involved in the planning and execution of Regulatory Science bootcamp events, continuing education training and activities. Dr. Issa also serves as the curriculum coordinator for both undergraduate and graduate programs in Regulatory Science and oversees commencement.
Dr. Issa’s first position in Regulatory Science was managing the Doctor of Regulatory Science (DRSc) program. Prior to joining Regulatory Science, Dr. Issa served as the Director of Academic Progress and Senior Editor at the USC Graduate School, Office of the Provost. Dr. Issa received her doctorate in Political Science from the University of Southern California. Her dissertation, “Constituting the Popular Sovereignty: Politics and Institutions in the Early American Republic” won the Western Political Science Association’s Best Dissertation Award.
