Sharon is the Associate Director of Operations for the Clinical Research Support Office at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. She works closely with the CRSO Clinical Research Coordinators to support a department’s clinical research protocol portfolio. She mentors and trains the CRCs to effectively coordinate research protocols from start-up to close-out.

Professional Background
Sharon has been a clinical research coordinator since 1999. She has coordinated research protocols at The Ohio State University’s James Comprehensive Cancer Center initially working on breast oncology protocols and then transitioned to a regulatory position. She eventually became the Assistant Program Manager for the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Clinical Trials Office overseeing a pool of 8 CRCs as well as coordinating Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension studies. She returned to her home town of Los Angeles in 2011 to work at Cedars-Sinai coordinating Muscular Dystrophy studies until 2013 where she started working for the CHLA in the Nephrology Department.
Interests
Sharon is a foodie and long distance runner.
