Professional Background

With over 10 years of clinical research experience, Sydney’s background includes working in the fields of psychology, social work, pathology, and many years involved in Autism research and the greater Autism community.  In her previous role prior to joining SC CTSI she was actively involved in the research community in the general Los Angeles area where she honed her skills in subject recruitment and retention.  Understanding the complexities involved in the decision to participate in a research study and translating “scary science” into language the families can understand is always her goal and she enjoys the relationships and trust that comes with being a research coordinator.
