SC CTSI Role
As a CRC supervisor, Tali Homsey oversees a pool of coordinators within the Clinical Research Support (CRS) team. She also assists investigators with regulatory submissions, as well as other logistical and implementation aspects of study startup for clinical research.
Tali Homsey has a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and a Pre-Medicine Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Loyola Marymount University. With over six years of clinical research experience, she has worked on over 30 research studies across various departments, including Medicine, Pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Allergy/Immunology, Dermatology, and Neurosurgery. Before joining the SC CTSI Team, Tali managed the UCLA CTSI’s Study Activation Team, and has performed study coordination and regulatory coordination for industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. Tali is currently earning a Master’s degree in Public Health from Des Moines University with a concentration in Public Health Practice to expand her knowledge in health promotion and patient advocacy.
When she is not working or attending classes, Tali enjoys cooking, Zumba, watching Marvel Universe movies, and spending time with family and friends.
