Service description

The SC CSI  facilitates access to de-identified data in national study participant and data analysis systems called pSCANNER, the Patient-Centered National Network for Effectiveness Research and PCORNET, the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network.

pSCANNER, the Patient-Centered SCAlable National Network for Effectiveness
pSCANNER is a stakeholder-governed federated network that utilizes a distributed, service-oriented architecture to integrate data from existing networks and surrounding health systems covering over 37 million patients. To learn more or see who is participating, please visit the website.

PCORnet, the National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network
PCORnet is designed to make it faster, easier, and less costly to conduct clinical research than is now possible by harnessing the power of large amounts of health data and patient partnerships. In the process, it is transforming the culture of clinical research from one directed by researchers to one driven by the needs of patients and those who care for them. PCORnet is an initiative of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). To learn more or see who is participating, please visit the website.
