Service description

The SC CTSI team will assist investigators in developing plans to translate their innovations to the bedside.  Investigators at any stage of translational research can benefit from this service. The service may include but is not limited to finding research collaborators for pre-clinical and/or clinical research for completing an Investigator New Drug/Device application, finding funding for translational research, and providing project-based training for researchers interested in commercialization of their biomedical research and innovation.

Benefits for users

Our service is customized to help biomedical researchers successfully put their research innovations at USC on viable paths to commercialization. We will leverage expertise at USC in translational research, commercialization, Intellectual property, and/or regulatory and contract law for advice and guidance.  


Cost

Our entire range of services are completely free of charge.  In instances when more ongoing administrative assistance is needed to assist in secure or managing the project, we can work with you to establish a percentage effort in a grant for continue administrative support.
