Background
Dr. Anna Cushing is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the USC Keck School of Medicine and an attending physician in the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Computation at Stanford University and her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She then completed her pediatric residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center and her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Cushing’s research focuses on pediatric mental health services and use of advanced computational methods and innovative technology tools to improve care for children experiencing mental health crises in the emergency department.
