Professional Background

Quran graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a BS in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Health Services Administration. Currently she is pursuing her Master of Public Health with a focus on Urban Community Health at California State University Los Angeles. In this program, she is deepening her knowledge and skills in addressing health disparities and promoting community well-being. She works at UCLA’s Center for Healthier Children, Families, and Communities under the leadership of Principal Investigator Neal Halfon, MD. In this role, Quran contributes to initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of children and families through research, collaboration, and community-focused programs. She has extensive experience in healthcare operations, patient care coordination, and administrative management. Her academic and professional journey has led her to explore research areas such as health disparities, access to healthcare, and community-based interventions. She is passionate about leveraging her education and experiences to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities, particularly those facing significant barriers to health equity.

Interests

Outside of work, Quran enjoys staying active. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new places, and trying out different restaurants. Traveling broadens her perspective of the world. She also enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community.
