SC CTSI Role
Saira leads evaluation and improvement efforts for clinical and community-based programs by overseeing the collection, analysis, and translation of program data to assess outcomes, inform strategic decisions, and support continuous quality improvement. She collaborates with faculty, research teams, and external partners to advance shared goals. She also contributes to grant reporting, develop data tools and dashboards, and apply analytic insights to enhance program effectiveness, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.

Professional Background
Saira holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Biostatistics and a Bachelor of Science in Brain and Behavioral Sciences from Purdue University. Her research experience spans clinical trials, program evaluation, and data analysis. She worked for a telehealth clinical trial on caregiver mental health in Dr. Bridgette Kelleher’s Neurodevelopmental Family Lab, led adolescent sleep disparity analyses in Dr. Michelle Garrison’s Sleep Equity Research Lab, and conducted a mixed-methods evaluation of developmental screening in maternal recovery housing with Overdose Lifeline, where she also led a statewide assessment of youth substance prevention programs. Her work focuses on using data to drive evidence-based improvements in public health programs and clinical research.
