Objectives including a rationale for how the event or activity will promote team building Cancer survivorship science addresses the needs of cancer survivors, including the physiological, psychological, and social dimensions of life after cancer. The field of cancer survivorship science has emerged as the result of steadily increasing numbers of long-term cancer survivors, coupled with the recognition of characteristic health problems incurred by cancer and toxic therapies often used in this population.
