OVERVIEW: The Clinical Research Informatics (CRI) group of the SC CTSI led the establishment of federated research informatics capabilities across three institutions, with three separate covered entities: the University of Southern California (USC) and its Keck Medical Center (KMC), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS).

GOALS: To increase accessibility of data across multiple institutions.

CURRENT STATUS: We have created several specialty datamarts including a COVID-19 Patient Data Mart and soon to be mortality datamart which will consist of CA Mortality data files merged with Keck patient records.
