SC CTSI Role

Dr. Amy Chai supports the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) core group in providing statistical consultation, advising on survey and study design, and guiding data cleaning. She also helps with data management, statistical analyses and preparation of written reports in various disciplines of epidemiological research.

Professional Background

Dr. Amy Chai completed her PhD in Epidemiology at Fielding School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles, remaining there for a postdoctoral fellow position before joining CHLA. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at University of Missouri and obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Yale University.

Interests

Dr. Chai enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
