Success Liaison Research Specialist

SC CTSI Role

Cathelin is the liaison managing the NIH approval process for CTSI-funded studies. Her role facilitates the Quality by Design (QbD) Launch Studio and ensures an efficient approval process before the studies begin. Furthermore, she will be tracking scholars’ study progress, helping address any barriers along the process, and connecting scholars with relevant CTSI resources as needed. Lastly, she will be collecting, managing, and reporting outcomes on the success of scholars and the rate of completion of their studies.

Professional Background

Cathelin graduated from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a Master’s Degree in Health Science and concentration in Health Disparities and Health Inequalities. Prior to joining CTSI, she worked as a Research Project Coordinator at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Interests

I enjoy outdoor activities such as running and hiking. Also love cooking and exploring different cuisines and new places.
