SC CTSI Role

Cathelin is the liaison managing the NIH approval process for SC CTSI-funded studies. Her role facilitates the Quality by Design (QbD) Launch Studio and ensures an efficient approval process before the studies begin. Furthermore, she tracks scholars’ study progress, helping address any barriers along the process, and connecting scholars with relevant CTSI resources as needed. Lastly, she collects, manages, and reports outcomes on the success of scholars and the rate of completion of their studies.

Professional Background

Cathelin graduated from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a Master’s Degree in Health Science and concentration in Health Disparities and Health Inequalities. Prior to joining SC CTSI, she worked as a Research Project Coordinator at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Interests

Cathelin enjoys outdoor activities (such as running and hiking), cooking, and exploring different cuisines and new places.
