Jennifer provides a range of study-related services including coordinating assessments/patient visits/research objectives and communicating with the study team to ensure protocol compliance. She serves as contact for subjects, IRB, and study sponsors as needed. Maintaining accurate and complete records, including data entry and analysis, as well as leading site monitoring visits.

Professional Background

Jennifer Rivera graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where she double majored in Psychology and Social Ecology. Jennifer spent years working as a research assistant in multiple interdisciplinary labs, focusing on study coordination and investigating the impact of psycho-social therapies among low-income communities throughout Orange County. During her time at UC Irvine, Jennifer discovered an interest for research when she independently developed her own research project and presented her analysis at UCI’s annual research symposium. Jennifer enjoys engaging with the community and combining her passion for helping others with her desire to increase clinical research participation across diverse populations. She is dedicated to reducing health and social inequities among vulnerable communities through dynamic clinical research and development.

Interests

Traveling, reading, cooking, spending time with family and volunteering in the community.
