SC CTSI Role
As a Program Specialist within the Workforce Development team, Mrs. Busa coordinates and facilitates courses, seminars, and workshops for Workforce Development (WD). She tracks and monitors program data, used for program evaluation and reporting to NIH. Mrs. Busa also administers the SC CTSI Learning Network.

Professional Background
Mrs. Busa received a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne, and a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California. She has more than twenty years of experience in workforce development and instructional design and has worked with universities and healthcare organizations around the country.
Interests
Karen enjoys oenology, travel, eating at great restaurants, golf, and attending sporting events.
