Program Administrator, Healthcare Delivery Science

SC CTSI Role

Lisa Thai initiates, implements, pilots and assesses new program efforts focused on establishing an advisory committee, providing mentorship opportunities, grants management, peer reviewed allocation of pilot research funds, and faculty research and career development programs. She assists with the building of interdisciplinary research teams, evaluation and tracking of research programs and pilot funding outcomes, marketing, fundraising, and developing a sustainability plan. In close collaboration with program staff, USC researchers, and other stakeholders, Lisa facilitates ongoing operations of the Southern California Healthcare Delivery Science Center.

Professional Background

Lisa serves as the program administrator for the Southern California Healthcare Delivery Science Center. Currently, she also serves as an assistant hospital administrator at Los Angeles Center Medical Center. She oversees Outpatient Services, which includes Specialty Medicine, Women's Services and Cancer Care. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master in Public Health from the University of Southern California.

Interests

Lisa is a huge foodie. She enjoys travelling all year round to attend food festivals and try various cuisines.
