SC CTSI Role

Dr. Hayati Rezvan is a member of Biostatistics Core, who provides statistical consulting support and training primarily to investigators at CHLA. She provides assistance in data management, statistical analysis planning, performing statistical analysis, and scientific writing.

Professional Background

She is a previous awardee of T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship for HIV Combination Prevention affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She received her M.S. in Statistics and Operation Research from the RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia in 2012, and obtained her Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2016. Prior to joining the Biostatistics Core, she was a senior statistician and a research scientist at the UCLA Center for Community Health, where she gained a wide range of experience in analyzing longitudinal data in randomized controlled trials in areas with connection to behavioral medicine, psychology, HIV, and global health. Her primary methodological research interests have focused on evaluation and implementation of statistical methods for handling missing data, notably multiple imputation, and application of machine learning variable-selection techniques in the presence of missing data.

Interests

Panteha loves listing to jazz and rock music, and photography is her passion! She enjoys reading, having an aromatic cup of coffee, and gardening.
