SC CTSI Role

Yanet will be assisting the SC CTSI Community Engagement core in promoting Project Dulce among the Spanish-speaking community in and around Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles.

Professional Background

Yanet is currently employed at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in the Adolescent Division where she has been working for the past six years. In her role as Program Specialist, she schedules mobile health services in drop-in centers and/or shelters all throughout LA. She attended has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with a focus on family and children from the University of Phoenix. She is currently in her last semester of the Master in Public Health program at California State University Los Angeles. Before working at CHLA, Yanet worked as a liaison between a charter school and juvenile probation.

Interests

She enjoys working out, traveling, and baking sourdough bread from scratch.
