Overview:

This 60-minute webinar shares STARC's work over the past decade on developing advanced immersive augmented reality technology. This technology allows patients with PTSD to interact with highly realistic digital humans in different real-world contexts to overcome their avoidance behavior.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Characterize limitations of conventional exposure-based treatments of PTSD.
  • Describe augmented reality technologies in treatment of PTSD and dysfunction.
  • Recognize the clinical implications and current data on use of augmented reality in treatment of phobias and PTSD
