ZAP! A 2-Part Course for USC Entrepreneurs

Are you starting a company in the healthcare space, or thinking of starting one? Do you want support in this process? Participate in ZAP!, the program that has successfully enabled 26 teams to get $50,000 customer discovery grants from the National Science Foundation!

Event Details

What is ZAP?
ZAP! is based on the successful National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) methods of accelerating the translation of university research to the marketplace. If you complete ZAP!, you will be invited to IN-LA’s Technology Scouting Workshop, an opportunity to pitch to investors, and may move forward in the IN-LA process toward
eligibility for a $50,000 NSF I-Corps grant.

Who can participate in ZAP?
If you are working on any novel technology with some commercialization possibility healthcare space, you can participate! Professors may attend, and/ or a grad student or postdoc working on the technology may attend.

This is a 2-part event on 8/17 and 9/24 from 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided. Participants must attend both sessions.
