What is ZAP?ZAP! is based on the successful National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) methods of accelerating the translation of university research to the marketplace. If you complete ZAP!, you will be invited to IN-LA’s Technology Scouting Workshop, an opportunity to pitch to investors, and may move forward in the IN-LA process towardeligibility for a $50,000 NSF I-Corps grant.
Who can participate in ZAP?If you are working on any novel technology with some commercialization possibility healthcare space, you can participate! Professors may attend, and/ or a grad student or postdoc working on the technology may attend.
This is a 2-part event on 8/17 and 9/24 from 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided. Participants must attend both sessions.
