Production of small molecules and genetically engineered polypeptides via fermentation is an attractive approach for production. In this CTSI grant application we propose to establish a fermentation facility at the School of Pharmacy that will allow large scale production via fermentation. The large amounts of small molecules and polypeptides will be used for subsequent translational studies
