The major goal of this pilot project is to demonstrate feasibility of using Medicare Claims data as an Alzheimer’s disease outcome ascertainment tool in the California Teachers Study Cohort. We will identify AD cases by linking to the database. We will contact a subset of the identified cases and non-cases to confirm their diagnosis by reviewing medical records.
