This study will compare health education methods that can be used among Latino families in Los Angeles to help reduce obesity. It will assess the effectiveness of a fotonovela developed for low-income Latinos, comparing print and audiovisual versions of a story about a Latino mother and her two children dealing with obesity. Results will be used to determine the best practices to use in educating populations with low literacy in a clinic setting.
