The goal of this multi-disciplinary project is to validate a novel class of synthetic anti-inflammatory lipid molecules as potential therapeutics for colon cancer. Several compounds will be synthesized and evaluated for their potential effects in selected colon cancer cell lines. The most promising compound will be evaluate in a colon cancer animal model to determine its efficacy, safety, and other properties.
