UCA 1 is a novel prognostic long non-coding RNA in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). This project aims to understand the role of UCA 1 in promoting aggressive tumor phenotypes that could lead to poorer disease outcomes. Fundamentally, this project will explore the potential to exploit lncRNAs as novel therapeutic targets for EOC and other solid tumors.
