This project aims to test the feasibility of remote patient monitoring of seriously ill patient pain and symptoms using mobile technology. Forty seriously ill cancer patients experiencing pain will be recruited to participate and provided a mobile device and training in it's use. Daily pain and symptom reports will be transmitted to study coordinators and a pain specialist and measures collected to determine barriers and facilitators to use and acceptability of technology use among this sample.
