Overview

During this 60-minute webinar we will talk about resources for searching for publicly available datasets, and the process for registering and accessing government data using the National Survey on Drug Use and Health as a model.

The United States government collects data on a variety of different health related topic areas and makes it available for researchers' use. However, the process can be involved, and it can be challenging to find the most relevant datasets.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

•Identify resources for finding publicly available datasets
•Explain the difference between Open Access and Controlled access datasets
•Access data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health
