OVERVIEW: The SC CTSI Workforce Development (WD) core offers an eight-week introductory course in study design for residents, fellows and junior faculty members. The course teaches foundational study design, which participants use to develop a clinical research protocol.  From 2010-2023, 276 students have completed the eight-week course and the course offering is ongoing. 

GOALS: Provide foundational knowledge and experience in protocol design for individuals considering a career in clinical and translational research.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES: The Fall 2024 course begins on September 26 and runs until November 14. For more information and to register, click HERE.
