Daniella Garofalo is a Clinical Research Informatics Program Manager with over a decade of experience supporting data-driven healthcare research initiatives at USC Keck. An alumna of the USC Price School of Public Policy, she holds a Master of Public and Nonprofit Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a specialization in Geographical Information Systems from CSUN.

Professional Background

Throughout her tenure, Daniella has played a pivotal role in advancing the implementation and optimization of data management platforms, including REDCap, i2b2, TriNetX, and OpenSpecimen, enhancing cohort discovery, clinical data integration, and biobanking management. Her expertise includes managing and optimizing the design for data capture and management of complex longitudinal studies and datasets, developing data governance frameworks, and supporting research teams in effectively leveraging informatics tools to streamline clinical studies.
