Hira works on ETL and data integration activities, including the management of informatics data requests. Drawing on her expertise in the Cerner Electronic Medical Record system, she extracts, transforms, and maps clinical data to the research-focused OMOP Common Data Model. She oversees technical processes, establishes standardized data workflows, ensures data quality, and troubleshoots complex integration issues. Hira also collaborates with research and technical teams, mentors colleagues, and provides training and guidance on data-request processes and best practices.
