Ms. Dzekov McKean is the Program Manager the Mentored Career Development in Clinical and Translational Science (MCD-CTS/KL2) Program under Workforce Development Core. She administers all MC-CTS programmatic activities and conducts long-term tracking of all awardees.

Professional Background

Ms. Dzekov McKean has worked in research as a research coordinator on cancer clinical trials in Palm Springs area, on endocrine investigator-initiated studies at Charles R. Drew University as well as a program specialist for and ophthalmic epidemiologic studies at USC’s Department of Ophthalmology for over 10 years. She joined SC CTSI as the Program Administrator in 2010 for the MCD-CTS/KL2 Program and Workforce Development core.
