Professional Background
Dr. Roy Poblete MD, MS, is a clinician scientist and neurocritical care physician. He additionally serves as Associate Program Director for the Neurocritical Care Fellowship at the University of Southern California and is an associate editor for the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science. His clinical and research interest is primarily in traumatic brain injury (TBI). He completed the SC CTSI KL2 program in 2023 studying TBI pathophysiology and lipidomics. Dr. Poblete participates and facilitates in both pre-clinical and clinical TBI research and has served as site primary investigator for multicenter clinical trials at his primary site of practice, Los Angeles General Medical Center.
