As the Assistant Director for Clinical Research Operations, Mrs. Gutierrez assists with overseeing the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). Mrs. Gutierrez serves as a key resource in clinical trial development. She also works closely with principal investigators, study teams, and external contacts necessary to streamline the activation of clinical trials utilizing the CTU.

Professional Background
Mrs. Gutierrez has extensive experience in clinical trial development, management, and conduct. She served different roles while working at the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) giving her the opportunity to enhance her knowledge of clinical trials processes.
Interests
Yolanda enjoys baking for family and friends, teaching the chemistry of baking, ATV off-road riding, and desert camping.
