Please join us for a HEAL and MESH Academy Lunch & Learn event featuring professors Zach Steel and Caitlyn Conlin. The Lunch & Learn titled, “Clowns in the Hospital?! That’s Bonkers: Conversations with Professor Zach Steel About Medical Clowning” will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Mayer Auditorium from 12-1pm.

JOIN US for a HEAL and MESH Academy Lunch & Learn event, featuring USC School of Dramatic Arts faculty members and practicing medical clowns Zach Steel and Caitlyn Conlin, who will demonstrate for you the positive effects clowns can have on patients and their families in the hospital.
Zach Steel is an assistant professor of theatre practice at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. He is Director of the USC Medical Clown Program, a ground breaking research and training program which trains students to work as clowns in hospitals to bring joy and play to the healing process.
Caitlyn Conlin is a Los Angeles-based actress, musician, clown and educator. She has worked with several award-winning movement-based theatre companies and her theatrical work has been performed at notable venues around Los Angeles and internationally.
