Dr. Katrina Kubicek, Associate Director of Community Engagement at The Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute, invites faculty, researchers, and scholars to a discussion on Community-Engaged Research. This learning event will help attendees differentiate community-engaged research from traditional academic or clinical research; understand the benefits and challenges of conducting community-engaged research; identify strategies to locate community partners; and learn how to successfully gain entry into community settings to learn about community health needs and assets.
