Attend to learn how to prepare the budget for your grant and why this is an important component of your proposal. You will hear about campus resources that are available and have a chance to ask questions about specifics, such as direct/indirect costs, facilities &amp; administrative costs, etc. This seminar is tailored towards postdocs and junior faculty.  Speaker: Janet Stoeckert, M.A. Senior Administrative Director, Research Administration and Basic Sciences, Keck School of Medicine of USC Date: November 29, 2018Time: 12:30pm to 1:30pm Catered lunch provided at 12:10pm Made possible with organization and funding provided by the Keck Postdoctoral Advisory Council (KPAC).Please note: Fundamentals for NIH R and K series and foundation grants will be discussed in this talk. The target audience are postdocs and junior faculty applying for K awards. Budget related to clinical trials will not be discussed in this talk.
