Join the Health, Technology and Engineering Program (HTE@USC), USC’s Center for Health System Innovation (CHSI), and The Center for Innovative Medical Education and Technology (CIMET) on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at USC’s Health Science campus to learn about innovative products and the pathways for companies at different stages of growth and development to find a place within the USC healthcare system to improve patient care and outcomes.

USC TechMED Demo Day - Thursday, November 15, 2018 at HSC Join the Health, Technology and Engineering Program (HTE@USC), USC’s Center for Health System Innovation (CHSI), and The Center for Innovative Medical Education and Technology (CIMET) on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at USC’s Health Science campus to learn about innovative products and the pathways for companies at different stages of growth and development to find a place within the USC healthcare system to improve patient care and outcomes. We invite you to join our medtech and biotech communities and interact with USC’s healthcare innovators, clinicians, business development teams and thought leaders who collectively facilitate Innovation at USC. Medtech hardware and software will be showcased via product demos and informational presentations. The program will include speakers who will outline: Innovation at USC, USC’s approach to screening and selecting technology, purchasing processes, technology testing and implementation across USC’s Health Care System. Speakers include: Dr. George Tolomiczenko, MBA, MPH, PhD, Administrative Director, HTE@USC Dr. Juan Espinoza, MD, Director, Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), Director, Clinical Research Informatics and Medical Director, CHLA Center for Innovation, TJ Malseed, Chief Health Information Officer Keck Medicine of USC Dr. Kenneth Hayashida, MD USC Alum and Board Certified Pediatrician Dr. Dilip Parekh, Professor of Clinical Surgery and Chief Clinical Officer for Keck Medicine Thomas E. Jackiewicz, MPH Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Keck Medicine of USC TechMED Demo Day companies will include startups, large medical device companies and in between.. Attendees will include a broad swath of clinicians, students, vendors, hospital executives and USC administrators with time for practical discussions and Q&A sessions about innovation in USC’s Healthcare system. The purpose of TechMED is to connect, educate and promote innovation in healthcare at USC and beyond.
