This 60-minute session informs attendees how social and environmental factors act as determinants of patients’ health. We will discuss an approach of how to use social indicators and environmental indicators already collected to enrich patient records facilitating better understanding impacts to their health.
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
•Describe social and environmental factors that act as determinants
•Select determinants and incorporate them into their datasets
•Plan a research project that incorporates these important factors as they affect patient health and outcomes
