Overview
During this webinar we discuss ways to use a private, closed social media group intervention to promote health behavior change using the CAN Quit study as a case study. The following areas will be covered: 1) Why social media for health behavior change (challenges and opportunities)? 2) Overview of the Can Quit study. 3) Process of cultural tailoring of intervention content (i.e., moderator postings), 4) Selecting and evaluating platform and content, use and training of intervention moderators. 5) Evaluation strategies. 6) Lessons Learned.
