Dr. Ani Kardashian is Assistant Professor within the Division of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases under the Department of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Stanford University and obtained her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She completed her residency and fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at UCSF as well as a fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her KL2 research is to understand the role of food insecurity in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) among people living with HIV (PLWH).
