Background

Jordan Despanie is a second year Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD student at the USC School of Pharmacy. After obtaining his BS in Biology from Louisiana State University, Jordan worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital studying how defective protein trafficking underlies Cystic fibrosis prior to starting graduate school. His current research focuses on developing protein polymer nanoparticles as chemotherapy drug carriers to reduce their toxicities in the treatment of Metastatic breast cancer.
